Against the Infinite Feed

This site is deliberately slow to scroll. There is friction, there is space, there are rooms you have to walk into. I wanted the opposite of an infinite feed — a place that asks you to stay with one thing at a time.

A gallery does this with architecture: a doorway, a turn, a wall that hides the next painting until you are ready. I tried to translate that into transitions and reveals — a curtain that wipes, a stroke that opens.

If the web is mostly hallways now, I wanted to build a few good rooms.
